Be sure to read Kristen Breitweiser’s essay, on concerns about Sen. Barack Obama’s “mercurial political positions”, over at the Huffington Post.
Breitweiser concludes her thought-provoking essay with this:

“The Superdelegates have not yet voted. They cast their vote at the Convention in August which means Hillary Clinton’s “suspended” campaign could be reinstated. (Because, Oh, Yes She Can!) … Democrats must have a candidate with clear conviction to beat John McCain in November. The question that must be answered between now and August is whether Barack Obama is that candidate.”

Obama changed course Wednesday and voted for a bill that provides telecoms immunity against civil damages should they be caught aiding the government to wiretap and snoop in other ways on their customers. Sen. Clinton voted against the measure.

Does renewed V.P talk show they fear us?

Daily News columnist Michael Goodwin wrote Saturday that “Clinton’s Friday performance adds to my growing belief the dream ticket is an on-again possibility.” He continues, “it’s obvious he has to consider putting her on the ticket. She gave a better speech than he did (my emphasis) and won the gravitas weigh-in. She would help him reach more women and lower-income whites if she were on the ticket than a mere surrogate.
“They certainly looked like running mates, which shifts the dream-ticket question. Instead of why should he, it becomes why shouldn’t he?
“The only way he can say no is by showing he can win without her, and that having her would actually subtract from his ‘change’ brand.”
Or would this olive branch serve, in his camp’s opinion/hope, to silence our movement to put Hillary where she belongs, at the top of the ticket? I do think we frighten them. They’re reading my lowly blog, after all. How funny!
McCain’s “campaign,” if you could call it that, is being run so badly that the one true threat Obama faces is a left-field independent challenge by Hillary. If they think we can pull it off, and we think we can, what are we waiting for?
Hill, yeah, she can do it!
